Welcome to the Cincinnatus Teacher Center! Our main purpose is to provide teachers and staff with the professional development they need to implement federal education initiatives such as APPR, CCSS, and Data-driven instruction, along with other professional development opportunities in areas of support and need so that our teachers can provide our students with high-quality learning experiences. We also offer professional development focused on Integration of technology to promote 21st century skill development. The Cincinnatus Teacher Center maintains equipment, periodicals, other materials, and much more to assist our faculty in creating a nurturing, inviting learning environment.
New York State Teacher Centers are operated locally and funded by New York State. Cincinnatus Teacher Center is supported regionally by the Southern Tier Network and there is also statewide network support. It is governed by a policy board comprised of administrators, parents, higher education, business professionals, as well as 51% teachers.
